At DarusSalam Seminary, student life is about more than lectures and books. Our programs are designed to give students space to grow — spiritually, mentally, and physically. Through sports, recreational activities, and outings across Chicagoland and beyond, students build friendships and balance the intensity of study with meaningful experiences.
Staying Active & Connected
Life at UniCamp University is enriching, exciting, and energizing
Students have access to an indoor NCAA regulation basketball court with dedicated hours for brothers and sisters.
Separate weight rooms for brothers and sisters encourage healthy routines.
Student lounges provide space to relax, socialize, and recharge after classes.
Learning Beyond the Campus
Throughout the academic year, students take part in local outings to museums, libraries, and nature preserves.
Past trips have included the Shedd Aquarium, trampoline parks, and hiking areas.
These outings provide opportunities to refresh, connect with peers, and see the broader world through the lens of their Islamic education.
Building Bonds That Last
- Each year begins with a weekend camping trip — designed to help students bond with peers, faculty, and upperclassmen.
- During the year, students participate in overnight programs hosted at DarusSalam, enjoying meals, games, and time with teachers in a relaxed, family-like setting.
Dawah Trips: Putting Knowledge Into Practice
- Students join three dawah trips each year, offering a chance to apply classroom learning in real-world settings.
- These trips instill confidence, deepen understanding, and remind students that their knowledge is meant to be shared.
